Full Time Counselors

Our full-time counselors have the opportunity to be a strong role model to campers by leading a life of Christian stewardship, following the vision, beliefs and mission of Help One Child. Counselors, in collaboration with Help One Child staff, are responsible for camper safety and nurturing their spiritual growth organically while enjoying the outdoors and all the activities a summer camp could offer.

As a camp counselor, you will be paired with another volunteer counselor to lead your cabin of 6-7 youth through scheduled activities for the week of camp, encouraging them to participate in the activities and curriculum. All of our counselors are carefully chosen for their love for Christ, leadership qualities and are specifically trained to work with youth who have been exposed to or affected by the foster care system.

Camp Dates for Counselors: August 3rd-8th, 2024
