Redwood Christian Park is nestled in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains along the California coast, offering a peaceful retreat among towering redwoods. The campus provides easy access to hiking and biking trails, charming nearby towns, and beautiful beaches.

Families will bunk together as a family unit in one of our reserved cabins, each sleeping 3–9 people. Every cabin is equipped with heat and a private bathroom, including a vanity and shower, for a rustic but comfortable stay. Families of three or fewer may be asked to share a cabin with another family, depending on registration response and space availability. If you have a family in mind you’d like to bunk with, there will be space to list them during registration.

*Towels and bedding not included

Your time at Family Camp is intentionally designed as a balanced blend of respite, adult general sessions, family free time, structured childcare, and optional caregiver breakout sessions, all woven into one refreshing weekend. We understand how important it is for caregivers to step away, rest, and be encouraged, and we’ve built the schedule with that in mind.

During adult main sessions and designated breakout times, children will enjoy a true “kids camp” experience, led by trauma-informed and trained volunteers and counselors through engaging, intentional activities. Kids will be placed in groups by age to ensure their games and activities are developmentally appropriate, while teens will have their own unique camp experience, with space to connect with peers and participate in activities that are meaningful, fun, and designed just for them. All age groups will also include Christian Bible teachings, shared in thoughtful and engaging ways that are suited to each age group.

Outside of scheduled sessions, families will have plenty of time to enjoy being together and explore all that Redwood Christian Park has to offer, including hiking trails, a pool, a rock climbing wall, playgrounds, and more.

Programming for parents and caregivers is to be determined and will be shaped in part by registration responses. There will be main sessions, led by a Christian, Trauma-Informed speaker. Our vision is to provide a wide range of opportunities to connect or be refreshed, whether that’s strengthening couple communication, participating in prayer and worship, or slowing down through rest and pampering. All breakout sessions are optional, allowing you to choose what best supports your family and season of life.
