Deploy a team of volunteers interested in meeting tangible and relational needs from within your community. Utilizing CarePortal, a simple online platform, your Champion will be notified of real-time vetted needs from social workers in your county.
Give families a place to belong by hosting a monthly Parent Support Group. Deploy volunteers will wrap around this group to provide childcare for the meetings. We’ll work with volunteers to help them see additional avenues to support these families and provide ongoing trauma informed training to build up their understanding and awareness.
Mobilize your congregation to serve together for a week at Signs of Hope Camp held at Mission Springs’ Frontier Ranch in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Signs of Hope camp provides an opportunity for 65 foster and adopted children to spend the last days of summer learning about God’s love and grace along with other campers who have similar life stories. By providing a fun and safe environment, campers are able to make and strengthen their connections with other campers, counselors, and God.
