Monthly: How Your Family of Origin Impacts Your Parenting

Taking a quick stroll down Memory Lane to your childhood home, what are some events that were pivotal in how you view how families are “supposed” to be?   Your role as a parent?  Speaking out?  Stereotypes?  How to cope with the existence of trauma in the home?  In this session, Laura Beth Dehority, MA, AMFT will discuss the idea that “no matter where you go, there you are”, and will leave you with a few plans in place for self-care and self-compassion when the high needs of your kids are on high volume.
