Each holiday season, Help One Child requests Christmas wish lists from at-risk children throughout its region. Donors choose an ornament depicting a child’s first name, age, gender, and wished-for gift (typically $40-$50). The donor attaches the ornament as the gift tag and returns it to their church or workplace, that in turn delivers them to Help One Child. The gifts are distributed throughout Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties to emergency shelter homes, group homes, and kinship care support programs. Last year, over 2,000 gifts were distributed to foster and at-risk children in our region!
