[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Friends, this pandemic has thrown a wrench in our schedules we are all trying to figure out the new “norm.” Some of us have found that we have more time on our hands or more flexibility in our schedule. Please consider using your extra time to help a family in need. Now is a crucial time to step up as volunteers and extend a helping hand to our community.
For families with kids’ with attachment disorders and ADHD/Sensory Processing being at home together, all the time indefinitely is HARD. If you have a few minutes start with prayer. Pray for our Help One Child families that have tough kids with emotional issues, this is an extra hard scenario for kids who are triggered by “being part of a family”.
Do you have time to give? Help One Child is looking for volunteers to provide virtual friends and homework helpers for kiddos that would be in school during this time. On these calls you can sign up to be a homework helper or tutoring, to read a story to the kids, interact with them in the form of a game or activity, and then follow up with that child via phone call within 24 hours.
