In an effort to continue to build healthy relationships, families, and communities, Dr. Sarah Hill, PsyD will guide us to talk a bit about how we think about help. Maybe some of us have had to be strong for so long we don’t like to think of ourselves as needing anything. Maybe others have felt their pleas for help ignored or mocked. Maybe you feel embarrassed about the amount of help you currently need in this stage of your life. Whatever your situation, we could all benefit from being able to identify what we need and want AND communicate it in a way that increases the likelihood we’ll get the help we need. This workshop will focus on practical tools and tasks that you can start implementing right away!
For virtual childcare during the training, please reach out to email@example.com for a one to one virtual volunteer match for your child with one of our vetted volunteers. Your child will need a device. Please reach out no later than Monday, November 9th.
Help One Child has assembled a COVID-19 Committee tasked with reviewing orders and developing protocols to best help our community maintain good health practices and social distancing. If you are interested in reading our Guidelines and Protocol for our programs click below.
