Parenting A Defiant Child – Virtual Training

Join Jenn Hook, MA, a therapist for children and adolescents in foster care, as we discuss what oppositional defiance is, how to differentiate that from trauma behaviors, and receive tips and encouragement as you continue loving your child through the hard parts of their story. This will be geared at foster, adoptive and kinship parents and caregivers.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Jenn Ranter Hook, MA, is the Founder and Executive Director of Replanted – a ministry that provides post-placement support to foster & adoptive families through support groups and the Replanted Conference. She received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College. She worked as a trauma therapist for children and adolescents in foster care. She speaks frequently on topics related to adoption and foster care support, mental health, and trauma. For virtual childcare during the training, please reach out to judy@helponechild.org for a one to one virtual volunteer match for your child with one of our vetted volunteers. Your child will need a device. Please reach out no later than five days prior.
