Harnessing Your Happiness Hormones Part 1 & 2: Living in Your Green Zone

February 1 @ 9:00 am 12:00 pm

$15-$25 suggested donation (We rely on individual donors to offer most of our services free of charge or low cost to families served.)

When: This is a two-part virtual workshop series on Saturday, January 18th and February 1st from 9:00 am – 12: 00 pm.

Seminar Description: Set yourself up for personal and family success by participating in the Harnessing Your Happiness Hormones workshops! The quality of our lives depends on the interactions between the right and left sides of our brains. Each side has a job: one protects and manages our “fight or flight” response (our red zone response), while the other manages our restoration and ability to create meaningful experiences in our lives (our green zone response).

Creating meaningful experiences ( living in our Green Zone) is accomplished by the hormones your body releases depending on whether our situational experience is dominated by our right or left brain. If we are producing happiness hormones, we will be able to handle any situation from a place of confidence and patience. This is what Green Zone Living feels like!  If we are producing stress hormones, then even the slightest inconvenience can feel like a life threat (this is what Red Zone living feels like!)

These workshops are very hands-on and you will leave with tremendous insight into how your chemistry is working for or against you, and lots of tools to remedy your right-left brain interactions and increase your Green Zone living. You will also learn how to help your family members find their way to their Green Zones as well.
