Motherhood, with its special challenges and rewards, is a bond that only other mothers understand. As adoptive, foster, and kinship mothers, you share an even more unique and nuanced set of experiences. Mother’s Day can be difficult and full of complex emotions. We would like to set time aside to recognize and celebrate YOU. Our Mother’s Day Brunch will be a time of reflection, inspiration, laughter, and renewal. Enjoy brunch, connect with other moms, hear our speaker, Terri Marcroft, and feel her encouragement. Limited childcare spaces are available.

Terri Marcroft
Terri Marcroft is the adoptive mom of a 24-year-old young woman who is the love of her life. Terri’s all-time favorite action hero is her daughter’s birthmother who made an adoption plan as a senior in high school.
Terri is a business owner, non-profit leader, best-selling author, Mom, and most importantly, a Christ-follower.
Terri looks forward to sharing her adoption story with you. It’s a story with ups and downs, that eventually led her to start a nonprofit in 2010 to spread the word about open adoption. She started speaking at conferences in 2015. Her first speaking gig was before the Idaho Senate Committee on State Affairs, and that further fueled her passion to talk about open adoption. Her book, Pro-Choice, Pro-Adoption: It’s Time for a Loving, Positive Response to Unplanned Pregnancy was published in Nov. 2022. Her next book, Pro-Family, Pro Adoption: A Christian’s Guide to Unplanned Pregnancy Options, was published in Nov. 2023. Terri loves sharing her adoption story; how it has changed her life, her work, her world and her faith.
