About our speaker:
The teaching of pastor-psychologist James Witty rests on strong credentials and more than 30 years of in-the-field experience. He has done post-graduate work at Cambridge University and at the Stanford National PTSD Center, and has received masters and doctoral degrees from the University of Santa Clara, the University of the Pacific, and San Francisco Theological Seminary.
Rev. Dr. Witty founded Care Corps International in 1995 as a Christian ministry committed to train, support and encourage victims of emotional and psychological trauma throughout the world. At the invitation of national church leaders, mission and relief agencies, and local governmental offices, Care Corps provides caregiver training and programs for victims of traumatic life experiences.
The organization’s Care Camps holistically combine play, music, art, and sports with a Christian approach and curriculum where the Care Corps team focuses on the long term healing needs of the children. For more information, visit Care Corps International.
